modern lodge type pub that serves food and offers accommodation. Large car park.
Two real ales - served a bit too cold so it loses a star. Large collection
of clocks - and there's a big fire in the lounge but no chimney. On our
previous visit the music was too loud, but this time there was no music. Situated on the A483 / B5070 roundabout. Visited

single real ale - Marstons Pedigree tasted okay - but we were told that
it's only usally stocked in the summer months because there is not enough
demand in winter. Value food pub with lots
of wooden screens and alcoves. Open all day. Nice canal side setting with a
beer garden and seats outside at the front. Car park. Formerly called The New Inn. Situated just outside Chirk on the B5070. Tel - 01691
