Wharf Tavern

Freehouse. Most of this pub is given over to diners - and very popular it is too. Just one real ale, the Bombardier Bitter was tasty and a top-up to a full pint was readily offered. Handy for the camping site at the back of the pub. Large car park. Situated off the A529 not far from Cheswardine. Tel - 01630 661226. Visited Jun 2007  Pub website

Readers comments - Went to the Wharf Inn at Goldstone on Wednesday for lunch nothing changed there good beer and food - Jun 2007
Fourteen of us went for a meal at the Wharf, food was first class and value for money. Two real ales on tap, Bombardier bitter 10/10 and Salopian Shropshire Gold, not my kind of bitter but can't fault the way it was kept.  A very nice country pub by the canal - Mar 2008
