17th century inn. Friendly and popular pub with a restaurant
area, accommodation and bar meals. Open
all day. Large car park. Collection of water jugs above the bar, a full size
cider press in the middle of the bar, and some historic oak panelling
taken from a Charles I oak bedhead. And plenty of beams as well. The
building dates from 1620. Two real ales. Situated on the A458 between Shrewsbury and Much Wenlock. Tel -
