The Old Gate Inn
Popular village pub with some very tasty local beers. The bar has a large fireplace, loads of paraphernalia including a collection of steins on the beams and a stuffed stoat and squirrel. A nice atmosphere, car park, food served, restaurant area. The background music a little bit load at times, and the beer is a bit expensive. Check out the hanging gate outside. Beer garden. Enville Ale distintively sweet, Slaters Supreme very tasty with a nice hopped flavour. Situated off the beaten track off the A458 near Claverley. Tel - 01746 710431. Visited April 2002.
