 Traditional country local with a nice atmosphere. Collection of black and white photos of
yesteryear in the lounge. There is always a good selection of guest beers - so it's well worth a visit. This pub
has a good car park and a large games room with two pool tables. Food served. Located west of
Gobowen, it's worth taking the trouble to find it. Tel - 01691 659747. Visited

comments: - Di says I've been a few times to The Last Inn at Hengoed. Absolutely wonderful beer and an always changing selection - Jim has retired and new owners in 2007, hope this continues to be a top venue for Real Ale - Visited on a Friday night. This time there were 5 beers on and I rated my samples as 3 star. This was an improvement on my last visit. Banks' Mild seems to be a regular beer, the remainder being guests - Oct 2010 |
