Road, right next to the Llangollen canal. Unique outside bar. Large beer garden and car park.
Usually there is an interesting selection of guest ales. Food served in the
restaurant area. The pub is named after "Mad" Jack Mytton - a
local eccentric who is renowned for being a sportsman and being a bit mad.

| Readers comments - Visited on a Friday night. All four beers were from Stonehouse, but the landlord said that his range changes continuously and this was not typical. I had Cambrian Gold and Station Bitter which I rated as an average 3 star. However, my enjoyment was tempered by the price of £3.10 per pint. This was far in excess of the price we paid on the same night for the same beer at other pubs in the locality - Oct 2010 |
