Popular local with a large collection of keyrings and water jugs on the beams in the bar. Restaurant area. Food served. Guest ales. The Tanglefoot was tasty, whilst the Whistling Will tasted of apples and had no trace of a head. Situated on Wood Lane in the middle of Hinstock. Tel - 01952 550241. Visited Aug 2001.  Pub website

Freehouse. Multi-roomed roadside pub. The Bombardier Bitter was tasty but a bit cool. Beer garden at the back. Nice gents. Situated north of Hinstock on the A41. Tel - 01952 550650. Visited Jun 2003  Pub website

Readers comments - Have just read in the local paper the Four Crosses has been bought and will be opening soon after a complete re-furb - to  specialise in local ales and food. Jan 2008.  Open again - Sep 2008
