A once quiet and unassuming pub considering its position on the main tourist route from Shrewsbury to Ironbridge. It had a nice beer garden. Pool table. Situated on the B4380. Tel - 01952 510258. Last visited June 2001

From article in Shropshire Star - Leighton and Eaton Constantine parish council clerk Roger Pittaway today said a solution was in sight. Councillor Malcolm Corrie is currently trying to get the lease back from the company it is currently with. Mr Pittaway said: “Malcolm knows a couple and they want to open it by Christmas 2008 as a free house and then they will concentrate on getting the food up and running - Oct 2008
