Freehouse. Well kept beer - the Station Bitter was on top form.

The Dolphin

This pub is just over the border in Wales - we've included it because the other half of Llanynynech is in Shropshire. Real fire. Nice stained glass in the entrance. Green King IPA was a bit average. Car park. Tel - 01691 831078. Visited Nov 2009

Lion Hotel
Closed - it will probably be converted into housing. There used to be a sign saying the pub is half in England and half in Wales. Feb 2006
