comments - Wonderful camp site, good home produced meals, superb ales,
fantastic hosts - April 2007 - Visted on a Friday evening. Quite busy as there were the area domino finals on! Three local beers on including my favourite Stonehouse Station. I awarded it 3 stars. I wouldn’t describe it as a food pub these days, more of a local that does food. The smoking shelter the landlord refers to is a sort of rondeval, so as a pipe smoker, I applaud his thoughtfulness! I was wondering why a Shropshire village pub was of such a relatively grand appearance. It seems that the pub was originally built by the Walcot estate which is very close - May 2011 |
