Pubmaster pub. Everything is painted shiny - even the beams. Car park and juke box. Just one real ale and it's very average. Situated in The Square. Tel - 01743 791260. Visited Jun 2010

I second that - a real and pretty much unspoilt pub with Courage bitter and Directors kept well and lots going on. Right next to the bowling green, live music often (including acoustic  session on 1st and 3rd Thursdays), Sunday lunches too - May 2009
Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Clearly, an effort is being made to lift it beyond the standard pubco offering. Smokers have a pleasant tented area at the back. Beers were Rev. James and Courage Best (3 star - Jun 2010
