Pub of the Month April 2011 |
Freehouse.
Friendly traditional multi-roomed village local with two real ales.
Wonderfully unspoilt. The Three Tuns XXX and Shropshire Gold were tasty
and very drinkable. Worth another visit. Food served. Tables outside
overlooking the River Severn - with an interesting flood depth guage.
Date-stone on the front suggests the pub was built in 1777. Situated near
Pentre off the A5 between Shrewsbury and Oswestry. Tel - 01743 741242
