Pub of the Month
May 2007

Freehouse. New owners in 2006. Now with two rooms and the William Morris wallpaper has been replaced by an altogether lighter shade. Moody lighting and a gas flame fire add to the ambience. Pub has it's own microbrewery with plans to launch new brews in the future. The Ollie Dog is named after the friendly pub dog. Free from music. Coffee served. Food served. Good choice of real ale and it's all well kept. Situated on St. Michaels Street. Parking can be a bit of a problem - a fact not gone un-noticed by the owners who have an amusing sign outside. Tel - 01743 350419.

Exmoor Gold
