Nesscliffe

The Old Three Pigeons

Freehouse. More of an eating type pub with a fine reputation for food. Large car park overlooking a pool. Beer garden with a large fountain that looks a bit out of place. Comfortable restaurant area. Real fire in the bar accompanied by huge sandstone blocks for walls. Ales all well kept. Situated on the old A5 between Shrewsbury and Oswestry. Visited Aug 2008
Salopian Shropshire Gold  Hoppy and refreshing
Salopian Abbey Gate
Wye Valley Bitter

Warm welcoming atmosphere, lovely open fire and friendly attentive staff. Brilliant menu, snack or full meal. Exceptional fish cuisine, peppered streak to die for and great value for money. Highly recommended - Mar 2007
