Bottle & Glass

Freehouse. This is a nice traditional village pub, with good service and noted for its splendid food and Sunday carvery. A good selection of well kept real ales. Food served. Car park. Situated out in the wilds between the A488 and the A49 south west of Shrewsbury. New landlord in 2006 - who will only be around for 3 years so get the grub while you can. The Bottle & Glass also has a nice stream just opposite the pub. Tel - 01694 751345. Visited Jan 2007  Website

Readers comments - Rachel says: Recently been taken over  during summer '08.  The standard of service has remained the same with a lovely warm atmosphere, large open fire with lots of choice on guest ales.  Pub was refurbished by last landlord and it is looking very classy with original features.  Food is of excellent standard - Jan 2009
