Ex-Greenalls pub with a pool table and darts. Car park - live bands at the weekend. Handy for Shrewsbury Town home games. Situated on Belle Vue Road. Tel - 01743 358608. Visited Sep 2003

Coach & Horses

Cromwells Hotel

Popular lunchtime venue, especially with diners. Two roomed pub - restaurant and wine bar. Draught ales and lively menu - and they'll even do chip butties. Number one in Shrewsbury for attractive bar-staff. Guest ales. Formerly the Warwick Hotel. Situated on Dogpole. In 2006 the pubsign with a cartoon of Cromwell was replaced by something much more in keeping with the historic and architectural values of the area.
