Information:
The Three Tuns pub has a history going back to 1642. The
famous Three Tuns Victorian tower brewery closed again in
2002 following poor financial results and some quality problems. As a temporary
arrangement production was shifted to Hobsons Brewery. Planning
consent to convert the
brewery into accommodation was turned down in 2002 - but the
Gods must be smiling because Bill Bainbridge, a retired solicitor,
purchased the brewery and production started again in April 2003.
