Banks's pub. Attractive pub with a nice wicket gate at the front. Only one real ale on handpull - the Pedigree was tasty and refreshing. Food is served and the pub is open all day. Car park. Beer garden. Kiddies bouncy castle. Credit cards are accepted. The tables have little posies of flowers on them. Situated on the A41 just north of junction 3 of the M54. Tel - 01952 850210. - Went for a meal at the Bell at Tong. Had to wait a very long time for our meal & when it came the 2 scampi meals and 1 gammon were very burnt the gammon looked like shoe leather.
If my grandson hadn't been so hungry we would have walked out. There wasn't any point complaining because it was quite obvious how bad the meals were when they were brought to the table - Aug 2006
- Decided earlier comments we decided to risk The Bell of Tong, however it was ok, reasonable prices for the food which was good and two beers on, Brains and Pedigree; the Brains passable - Mar 2007
