in the South Shropshire hills not far from Diddlesbury, the pub has been
restored and features local Shropshire beers. |

 Our
featured pub is the Red Lion Coaching Inn in Ellesmere in North
Shropshire. We enjoyed the Mild, which seems to be making a comeback
these days. There was a friendly welcome in this Thwaite's pub, and it
serves good value food too. Well worth a visit |

the Old Fighting Cocks in Oakengates is up for sale (Dec 2011) - anyone got a spare £300,000 Real ale
is back. The River
