In the last few years the pub has been closed and re-opened a few times and it now looks doomed. Ex-Banks's pub. Visited Jun 2008.

Lion Quays
The Waterside Bar was opened in August 2003. It's on the site of the old Lion Inn at Moreton outside Weston Rhyn on the A5. Situated next to the Llangollen Canal - it has it's own mooring for 20 narrow boats. Food served. Accommodation. The Stonehouse Wheeltappers Bitter was nicely sweet and hoppy. Large car park. The Lodge
Like the Cross Keys handpulled beers have been introduced since our last visit. Banks's beers and they were okay. Darts is on offer as well as a car park. Visited June 2008  Pub website

The Plough
Banks's pub. Popular local. Food served including cheap burgers. Banks's Bitter was okay and served at a nice temperature. Poolroom. Car park. Bit of a beer garden. Can have loud music. Situated on Station Road. Tel - 01691 772536. Visited June 2008  Pub website
