For the final 4 days of the broadcast we were available via live streaming audio on the Internet, thanks to KeConnect and Chip Support (URL needed!).

We were also broadcast live on shortwave (just like the original RNI) thanks to the Internet link and to WBCQ (wbcq.com) on 7415 kHz.

RNI IN 1999 MOMENTO

On Monday 30th August at midnight RNI will close down and you, the listener, will be left with your memories of this summer's broadcast. Available from October will be the RNI Picture Souvenir Book with over 200 photographs of the 'Mebo 3', the DeeJays and photos of the ship being prepared in Harwich harbour and the story of how the project came to be. For just £9.99 you can have a little piece of RNI In 1999 to keep and treasure over the years. This book will be a limited edition issue and only a few hundred will be available, individually numbered.

The Jeff Lynne Connection is a feature devised and broadcast by Graham Vine over the past few years (on whichever radio station he was with at the time). During the RNI In 1999 broadcasts, two editions were broadcast: firstly on 14th August and secondly on the 30th August. In keeping with the 'August 1970 timeframe snapshot', only the work of Jeff and related artists correct as of that period was included.
