Central News East, 1984.

 Andy Craig

Following his time at Tyne Tees Television, Andy moved to Central News East, co-presenting the first edition in 1984, 18 months after it was supposed to launch!

Andy can now be seen presenting the North edition of Meridian Tonight, from Newbury.

Andy also has several networked Quiz Shows under his belt, including Brainwave for the BBC.

 Bob Crampton

Bob's first taster of television was at Westward Television in Plymouth.

He moved to HTV News in Bristol in 1983, and is still there, now as Executive Editor. Oh and he still presents on occasions!

BBC Points West, 1960s.

 John Craven

Former Points West and Look North reporter, John Craven is perhaps better know for the children's news programme, John Craven's Newsround.

John also appeared on the Saturday morning children shows Multi-Coloured Swap Shop and Saturday Superstore during the 1980's.

John now presents the BBC's Country File on Sunday mornings.

 Peter Crawford

Former HTV West announcer and newsreader, Peter Crawford, can now be seen fronting a certain Personal Injury Compensation advert.

Victoria Crawford, former continuity announcer for both HTV West in Bristol and Thames Television in London.

BBC Points West, 1980s.

 Vivien Creegor

Vivien first graced our screens presenting BBC Points West in Bristol.

Next was a brief stint presenting the morning BBC News summaries.

Vivien can now be seen presenting on the 24 hour news channel, Sky News, on which she has been since the launch in 1989.

 Martine Croxall

Following a stint on the early shift at BBC Newsroom South East, Martine next moved to BBC News 24 and BBC UK Today.

 Rob Curling

Rob Curling was the longest serving of all the BBC South East newsreaders, until his move in 2000.

Rob could also be seen presenting Notice Board on BBC 2 during 1986.

Rob also presented for BSB's Now Channel for it's short life in 1990..

Rob could be seen on the ITN News Channel and reading the sport on BBC Midlands Today during the later part of 2001.

He can now be seen on Sky Sports News and reading the sport for Sky News.
