 Kevin Owen

Former AA Traffic reporter, Kevin moved over to news presenting for BBC Wales.

A subsequent promotion to be one of the main presenters of Wales Today was followed by a move to HTV Wales to co-present Wales Tonight!

Next came a move across the Bristol Channel to replace Bruce Hokin as main presenter on HTV News (West).

HTV News had been plagued with poor ratings. As a result (and quite unfairly) the presenting line up was changed and the regulars replaced, including Kevin.

Following HTV News, Kevin presented HTV's consumer programme Out of Order, plus the occasional Meridian News bulletin for all three regions.

On Sunday 21 April 2002 Kevin presented Meridian News (South) and Out of Order at the same time!

Kevin has also presented on Sky News, mainly on the overnight bulletins.

Kevin has now joined Channel Television presenting his first edition Channel Report on Monday 2nd September, 2002, along with Jenny Kirk.
