Cloud Strife- Cloud is an Ex-soldier who joins Avalanche looking for money but ends up fighting the Shinra, Sephiroth and then Meteor. The whole story of final fantasy 7 revolves around him and you control him 99% of the game.

Back To Top Red XIII- As his name suggests he is a red furred creature that the team meets in the Shinra building where he was a research specimen in Hojo's lab. He is very intelligent but never talks much about his past.

Cid Highwind- Cid's dream is too be the first man into space but this destroyed by a failed launch followed by Shinra scrapping their space program. He is the owner of Tiny Bronco, Highwind and the rocket so he is a great pilot. Always looking for a fight.
Yuffie Kisaraghi- Yuffie is a ninja and the youngest in the party, she is selfish but also an excellent fighter. She joins the team looking for Materia but as time goes by she becomes loyal and stays to the end.

Cait Sith- A fortune teller that you meet at the Gold Saucer. He tells their fortune and then joins to see if they are true. The truth is uncovered that he is really a spy working for Shinra but he still helps the team to reach what they are looking for.

.. Vincent Valentine- Vincent is another one of Shinra's experiments and he is very close to Sephiroth's real mother Lucrecia. He is a good fighter that could scare anybody but his limit breaks are unpridictable, once transformed you can no longer control him.
