The Multi-Function
Controller board (MFC) has been developed to cover the basic
operations required in typical public clock controller systems.

maintains accurate time keeping during MSF or GPS signal absence

- Automatic winter/summertime clock
correction by stopping synchronous motor clocks for either 1 hr or 11
hr's (MSF only)
- Variable output power control
- Auto restart facility in UPS mode that
will stop clock and restart at the correct time where power failure is
greater than useable battery capacity)

As the whole unit is software based,
specialist requirements such as master clock signal decoding, general
motor and lighting control etc. can be met through rapid development and
test methods to get the OEM product to market quickly and reliably.
