MY OWN FAMILY TREE.

I have now traced my own branch of the Unsworth family back to about 1781. Whilst I have much more information, I came to a stop because I found three possible ancestors, all living in the same village, and with the same Christian name. I am pretty certain about Robert Unsworth and his wife Alice. However his father was John and being unable to determine his mothers name, leaves me with too many possibilities to obtain more detailed information.

The direct line from this point onwards is quite accurate, but I have not been able to detail the brothers and sisters of either my Grandfather, Great Grandfather, who were born in 1859 and 1833 respectively and the previous generations going back to 1781.

I have a detailed tree of the 15 children of David Unsworth, my Grandfather and their descendants up to the present time. (due to marriage, they do not today all have the Unsworth surname) they live in Bury, Lancashire; Harrogate, Yorkshire; Bedford, Bedfordshire; Warrington, Cheshire; Stockport, Cheshire; Southsea, Hants; San Francisco and Los Angeles, California, USA; Orlando, Florida, USA.; and Sydney, Australia.
