My Mugshot!

Welcome

Welcome to the new version of my site.

I've not been doing anything much with this site for a while so I thought I would do a few things to refresh it. The new work involves the background on this page and I plan to extend it to the other pages as I get the time.

As of 15th September 2003

Change the way the layout is generated on this page and included a background.

So much has happened in the last year that the site broke while I was not looking! I'm busy mending it now, putting back the JavaScript so that I am not dependant on ASP.

As of 1st September 2002

So I've been busy, no visible changes for a while.

I've put the most recent changes at the top of the page.

As of 24th July 2002

There is some cookie work so that I can point out more readily the changes that I have made. This will become more complete as time goes on.

As of 15th August 2002

I became disenchanted with the ASP code in a frame as it seems to break the 'New' feature that I added. To this end I have replaced it on this page to test a Javascript version that is easier to maintain, though now on each page. The real solution is to create an ASP framework, so I will start work on that now. This has also broken the link text, so I'll need to find a solution for that too! And the bounce!

The main menu is now a gadget that I have placed in Brinkster. Snag is that I still need to maintain the old version inside the new one so that older browsers can still find their way! If this is the case I suggest that you look at why you should upgrade.

Changes during June 2002

I've managed to sort the profile page so that I can serve up from XML. Prints a treat. Still needs to be brought up-to-date, but it is reasonably accurate

I've been placing gadgets on the right here. I find them useful, I hope you do too. I'll try to find some less technical ones too. I've also added a links page , mainly technical again, but I was in need today at work so I thought I'd put the most useful ones so I could get at them. Hopefully you may too.

Links that I find useful

I was very impressed by Doc JavaScript. Perhaps using all their gadgets is a bit of a give away!
