This graph shows the output from the long furnace model. The x-axis is the time elapsed since steel entered the furnace and is equivalent to position along the hearth. The graph shows predicted combustion product and wall temperatures along the furnace, and steel billet temperatures at the hot face, centre and underside/cold face.
