Zone Modelling of Furnaces

Zone modelling is a very powerful technique for predicting the thermal performance of industrial furnaces. Both steady-state and transient thermal performance simulations are possible. Transient models take into account the non-steady-state conduction into the furnace walls and load.

Zerontec Ltd has over 20 years experience in writing and applying ZONE models for furnaces. Models were developed and experimentally validated as part of an OPEN UNIVERSITY PhD submission in 1990. These models can be applied for technical service support in industry. Applications include:
