Our shooting days are not ones of big bags but rather of variety in a beautiful and wild countryside. A typical day on one of our estates would start with a duck drive followed by walking and mini drives through old woods of birch and pine at the foothills of the moors.To finish the day we would have a duck flight to fed ponds. At the end of the day we would expect to hang in the larder a selection of mallard , pheasant,brown and white hare, a grouse or two, the odd woodcock and snipe, maybe a goose or three and the occaisional wigeon and teal.
