Calvin and Hobbes - the funniest cartoon strip in existence (in my opinion anyway). It appeals to everyone, young and old. To a ten year old kid, it is something to laugh at once the 'Beano' has been read, but it will also appeal to adults, often dealing with delicate or political issues, usually with a message. Now before anyone starts blasting copyright at me, I am not going to put many strips onto this site - it is not an attempt to rip off Bill Watterson - I am merely a fan of C&H, who is showing why C&H are so wonderful, and why you should all go out and buy the annuals! These are also all my own scans, so if you're from another C&H site and think the pics are yours, it's just because we have the same taste! If you do want to nick any of the pictures from here, feel free, but it would be nice if you put a link back to this site.

The main characters in Calvin and Hobbes are, obviously, Calvin and Hobbes, but then there are his parents, Suzie Derkins, the next door neighbour, and Rosalyn the baby sitter from hell (according to Calvin). Also making appearances are Moe, the school bully, and Miss Wormwood, Calvin's teacher. There are, of course, the inevitable sub-characters, but they are hardly worth a mention. Blah blah blah...... Because I am a C&H fan (as you have probably gathered by now) I am only doing this for a bit of fun, and so the Universal Press Syndicate don't have a go at me, as I know they've done this to other websites, I have put a list of the compilations and ISBN numbers (where I have them) here.
