Charles Nicolas D’Aubusson de la Feuillade was born Abt. 1748 in Paris, France. He married SARAH RAY on 14th June 1770. It is not known when she died but he then married ISABELLA Abt. 1782. According to a marriage certificate of Charles's son, James Thomas La Feuillade (married for the third time, aged 60) both father and son were musicians although on the marriage bond of Charles and Sarah his profession was ‘dancing master’. It is believed that there may have been a kinship between Charles and Jean, Count de Feuillade, who was guillotined in Paris on February 23, 1794. Take this with a pinch of salt until proven, though! The Count's widow, an Englishwoman named Elizabeth Hancock was a cousin of Jane Austen and later went on to marry Jane's brother, Henry Austen.
