Girl Friday
In 1994 Joanna Lumley agreed to do a program with the BBC entitled Girl Friday, where she was left alone with only the bare essentials, to fend for herself in the name of survival. In 1999, she returned to Tsarabanjina, off the Coast of Madagascar only to find that her Island had been transformed into a wonderful and exclusive Island resort. Apart from the obvious modern conveniences that had been added, Lumley was thrilled by how wonderfully well the creators of this getaway had done at preserving the natural feeling of the wild seclusion that she knew five years ago.
Joanna revisits her cave which she dubbed the Albert Hall. This time though things were not as gray and wet this time. Back at the Kissing Pigs of Marble Arch. On the right when Joanna was staying in the Albert Hall she made a pair of slippers from here trainer inserts and her bra. On the left she turns up to dinner with these on, claiming to own the bra shoe concession. Her first experience on the island provided her with cutlery that had washed up on the shore, and in the spirit of the occasion while visiting the resorts restaurant she gives up her cutlery and ops for the shell technique.
