On this floor we reach the largest studio in the building, the
Concert Hall.
|
|
As the most important space in the building, the design
and decoration of the Concert Hall were retained in the hands of the
architect. It was too small for use by the BBC Symphony Orchestra,
then numbering 114 players, which often played in the Queen's Hall,
just across the road from Broadcasting House. |
