"Of science and logic he chatters,
As fine and as fast as he can;
Though I am no judge of such matters,
I'm sure he's a talented man."
(Winthrop Mackworth Praed, The Talented Man)
This page will point to a list of scientific and technological sites, etc. and will include my own ramblings on on various topics.
I studied maths and computer science when I was younger, and ended up working with computers, so my interests tend to reflect this.

- one of the few industries where rapidly falling prices are a problem. The list below is mostly suppliers, when I get round to it I will find links to more interesting sites.
I have recently seen film of the inside of Bankside Power Station, soon to become the new Tate Gallery for Modern Art; a visit here will be a must when the time comes, both from the point of the pictures and of the building.
- this could be a bottomless pit! Most suppliers of hardware and software seem to be promoting services via the 'net, but I hope to find some more interesting sites which are not so commercially biased.
- My psychology interests - particularly cognition and perception. I did start a psychology course last year, but too many students dropped out, and the class closed.
This is another area which I need to expand a lot, and to add structure.
- buildings built by non-architects!
