The Residents' Lounge

Creag Ard House overlooks a quiet glen with glorious views across the loch to Laudale and the hills of Morvern. There is a feeling of faraway privacy but in fact the thriving village of Strontian is just a five minute drive away. The area around Loch Sunart offers unspoilt scenery, exceptional even by Highland standards, and the whole peninsula, which stretches to Ardnamurchan, the most westerly point on the British mainland, is one of Scotland's best-kept secrets. We are convinced that you will return again and again!

Only one road connects Strontian to the 'mainland' and this beautiful region has the feel of an island about it,with a gentler pace of life: here you will find friendly folk who have the time to stop and tell you about their bit of heaven, and a multitude of things to do,whether you fancy pounding the heather over untrodden hills or touring remote Ardnamurchan by car on uncrowded and spectacular roads.
