We are a member of the National Association of Choirs
The association currently has over 450 choirs in membership drawn from the whole of Britain - England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, north and south Wales - and covering the spectrum of male and female choirs, mixed choirs and choral societies, and youth choirs.
The 2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band of Bacup was formed in 1965, and is one of the few Scout brass bands in the country. The Senior Band has played at many prestigious venues around the country and earlier this year they were invited to play in front of Her Majesty the Queen at Windsor Castle.
The Britannia Coco-nut Dancers are a traditional dance troup from Bacup in Rossendale.
Frauenchor Grenzland 87, are a Ladies Choir from Mönchengladbach in Germany.We have been involved in an exchange scheme with them since 1994.
MGV "Sängerbund", a MaleVoice Choir from Bocholt have an exchange scheme with the Rossendale Ladies Choir and due to the close ties between the two Rossendale Choirs they have also become friends of ours.
