Register of Deaths Chapel of Garioch
Mary Ann Chilles, aged 5 months, died of Hooping Cough 18th May 1862 at Mains of Balquhaine, daughter of John Chilles and Jessie Milne.
Register of Deaths Kintore
John Chilles, aged 72, farm overseer married to Jessie Milne, died 25th November 1890 at Duthie Cottage, Kintore. Parents: Alexander Chilles and Sophia Stewart. Death notified by son James Chillas residing at 26 1/2 Gerrard Street, Aberdeen.
The records above relate to the family of John Chilles b. 1816 Banchory Ternan to Alexander Chillas and Sophia Stewart. William was the first son by his wife Jessie Milne The "boy living" was John Chillas b. 1847 to Jane Forbes. (See Chillas Family Tree 5 for more information).

Donald Keith, farm labourer, aged 20, residing 63 Union Street, Aberdeen, Parents: Donald Keith and Lily McTavish, married Jane Chillas, laundry maid, aged 22, residing 63 Union Street, Aberdeen, Parents: James Chillas and Margaret Hardy. Witnesses: James Fraser and James Chillas.
Jane was born 1864 Banchory Ternan and died 1946 Edinburgh.
Register of Deaths, Old Machar, Aberdeen
Isobel Adam, aged 72, married to Benjamin Adam, locomotive driver, died 20th November 1928 at 3 Chanonry, Old Aberdeen, Parents: James Chillas, toll-keeper, and Margaret Hardy. Death notified by son, J C Adam, 73 Dunbar Street, Old Aberdeen.
Isobel was born 1856 Peterculter and married Benjamin in 1889 in Aberdeen.
Register of Deaths Kintore
Margaret Davie Begg, aged 84, widow of George Begg, sawmiller, died 4th September 1933 at Hallforest Cottage, Kintore, Parents: James Chillas and Margaret Hardie. Death notified by son, Alexander Begg.
Margaret was born 1848 Old Meldrum and married George Begg in 1889 in Drumoak.
Register of Deaths Drumoak
John Hardie Chillas, aged 58, died 24th July 1919 at Moss-Side, Candyglerach, widower of Margaret Kemp. Death notified by J Keith, sister, residing at 39 Myrtle Terrace, Edinburgh.
John was born 1860 Inverurie. There is a memorial inscription for him at St Peter's cemetery in Aberdeen.
