Whilst under pressure in business meetings, defending his report under heavy cross-examination by clients, a colleague of the ISMS Chairman & Chief Executive always wanted to reply with the phrase "That might well be true, but you've pooed your pants!". He never did use it, as far as we know, but that set us thinking of good reposts and how well the medieval English, and particularly olde English pirates, could curse.
