History of the ISMS - an introduction

The History of the Institution currently runs to about 27 chapters and was compiled initially from a lecture on Ismology (the study of ISMS isms) given by the President at the Institution’s Y2K AGM.

You will see, if you make it through to the last chapter of our History, that on that occasion the President was unable to complete his speech. However, since the Y2K AGM, further unread chapters of the President's speech keep coming to light. These are being incorporated into our History section as and when they are verified. Watch our site updates for details of additional chapters.

The full transcription of the story so far is now available to be read by Members and visitors to this site. The transcription is copyright to LFG publishing, the ISMS and Prof. S L Rottenpig-Rules, our Chairman & Chief Executive. All rights reserved. Before you can read the incomplete and utter History of the ISMS you must also read our Legal Wafer.
