The
ISMS Award Scheme - Purpose & Aims Award Aims Awards available Criteria Rating Top tips Application form Winners
The
purpose of the ISMS Award scheme is to acknowledge and honour those
websites and, in particular, the designers who have turned their
dreams into reality and provided us, the rest of the world, with
something interesting, original, entertaining, educational,
informative, artistic or humorous. We at the ISMS wish to acknowledge
their dedication and hard work and in doing so encourage them to
continue to strive for excellence in web site design and content. ISMS Awards will only be made to organisations or individuals hosting web sites relating to all things 'ismatical', as defined by the ISMS. This may include, for example, those dealing with word play, puns, grammatical errors, the humour of the spoken or written word and, of course, isms of the type that can be found in the ISMS database. Above all the sites should be amusing or down-right funny! However, at the discretion of the Chairman & Chief Executive, ISMS Awards may be granted to other web sites that are at the forefront of humour on the web - whatever the scope of their web site. Overall, award winning sites must be humourous and make the average visitor want to stay a while, return often and always leave with a feeling that they have had fun, learned something or been enlightened by their visit. Prospective applicants should follow the links above to review the Awards available, read our basic criteria and rating system, explore our top tips for help in winning ISMS and other awards and then, and only then, complete our online application form. You must also read the terms applicable to your application, which can be found here.
For
further encouragement, visit our current Award winners and their web sites.
