Fibreglass is a popular method of nail extension and fibreglass nails have many advantages:-

Fibreglass can be used in two ways:
Wraps
Natural nails can be strengthened with a fibreglass mesh bonded with a resin. This process is also known as a 'Fibreglass Wrap'. Broken nail tips or split nails can be repaired using this method.
Tips
Layers of resin and a fibreglass mesh is applied over an artificial nail tip to form a nail extension. The nail is then buffed to give a natural look. A french or natural tip can be applied.
