A 17xgreat grandmother of mine was Agnes de Crophull, daughter of Sir Thomas de Crophull. Agnes married Sir Walter Devereux c. 1385, and had five sons, Walter (born 1387), Richard, John, Stephen and Roger, and a daughter, Joan.
After Sir Walter died (slain at Pilleth fighting Owen Glendwr, 1402/3), Agnes married Parr of Kendal, and thirdly, John Merbury. Agnes died in 1435/6.
