I am following the line of Froggatts, which appear round about 1858 in Northamptonshire, with a George who was born 1824 at Uttoxeter, Staffs. His father also a George was born 1798, where? I have tried to trace him in Staffordshire to no avail, he married an Elizabeth Lacey or Lacy in 1821 at Stoke on Trent. I do know that he died in 1840 at Uttoxeter. He was a cork cutter. So I am thinking that he must of come from Derbyshire, somewhere?? I have more details on this Uttoxeter side, but more on Northamptonshire side of the Froggatts, if it would be of any help to anybody.
