Alice was the wife of Ellis Froggatt (1X2). Her maiden name is unknown. She and Ellis had five children (of whom two died in infancy) baptised at Lichfield, Staffs., between 1628 and 1638. Ellis died in 1664. Alice lived on for a further 29 years and was buried on April 24th, 1693, at Lichfield, St. Mary, by which time she must have been at least in her eighties, possibly closer to 90 years of age (Ellis was born in 1603). The transcription below has been made from a poor photocopy obtained from Lichfield Record Office, and the insertion of asterisks indicate parts that have not been deciphered.
