(Probably) James George. Baptised 1692, Caynham, Salop. Married Mary, probably Mary Warrington, 1712, at Ludlow, Salop. Children: Samuel, John, Anne, James, Mary, Eleanor, Margaret, Richard, Richard, Thomas, Margaret, all baptised at Caynham. Burial not traced.
James George. Baptised 1719/20, Caynham, Salop. Married Anne Tompkins, 1742, Caynham. Children: Martha, James, Samuel, Thomas, John, Mary, all baptised at Caynham. Died 1790, buried at Caynham.
John George, farmer. Baptised 1754, Caynham, Salop. Married Ann Crowther, 1779, Stoke St. Milborough. Children: John, Mary, William, James, Ann, Thomas, Benjamin, Edward, Timothy, Joseph, Samuel, all baptised at Bitterley, except John. Still alive in 1841, at Bedlam, Bitterley. Burial not traced.
John George, labourer. Baptised 1779, Stoke St. Milborough, Salop. Married Mary, probably Mary Wire, 1803, Ludford, Salop. Children: Joseph, John, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Thomas, Anne, William, Samuel, Moses - first 3 baptised at Silvington, next 3 at Hopton Wafers, last 3 at Bitterley. Died 1848, then of Clee Hill, buried at Silvington, Salop.
Moses George, farmer and coal miner. Baptised 1827, Bitterley, Salop. Married Mary Philpotts, 1853, Stottesdon & Farlow, Salop. Children: Francis, Martha, Mary, John, William, Elizabeth, Moses, Ann, Edith, Thomas, Edwin, Agnes, James, all baptised in Farlow. Moved to Coombys, Highley, Salop (by 1891), and to Hawkesbatch, Upper Arley, Staffs (by 1893). Died 1902 at Winwood Farm, Kinlet, Salop., buried at Kinlet.
Edwin George. Born 1874, at Shirley, Cleeton St. Mary, Salop. Married 1896, Margaret Bray, Bridgnorth Baptist Chapel. Children: Ethel, Eva. Left family c. 1903 and emigrated to Canada/U.S. where he married twice more and had six more children. Died 1962.
Ethel George, nursing home matron. Born 1897, Ditton Priors, Salop. Married Harry Melville Froggatt, 1924. Children: Trevor, Elizabeth (Betty) (my mother), David and Margaret. Died 1995, Sharpthorne Nursing Home, near East Grinstead, Sussex.
