In coping with the complex IT projects it
was felt that there was a need for a simple but comprehensive tool to gauge the risks.
We developed the risk control computer model Ritsk to aid the process. The
model contains over thirty questions which have been carefully balanced to cover business,
user and technical issues.

The system does more however, than ask a
series of questions. There is a built in knowledge base of over 500 attributes which
enable you to drill down into those areas that are most relevant to the project.

Based on the answer selected, a risk value
is then calculated and stored in the database. As questions are progressively
answered, risk values are accumulated and can be graphically displayed to the user.
On completion, the overall level of risk is displayed together with an analysis of all
issues.

Whilst the major strength of Ritsk is its
ability to qualify and quantify potential I.T. risks for the project team, it also
provides a powerful tool for auditing I.T. systems. Another practical benefit of
utilising the software is its educational capability.

Ritsk provides a large number of reports
which fully utilise colour printing facilities. All reports can be previewed by the
user before printing.
