USA members should apply for their APHIS permit.
1. Seed Exchange 2008
This year’s seed exchange has gone slightly off course, which
I shall leave for others to explain, but a consequence is that this
newsletter did not go out earlier and you did not get the reminder to
send in seeds. The dates put up on the website in August are now unworkable
and have been cancelled..
Many thanks to those who have already sent seed into the exchange. The
amounts of seed is dramatically down on the usual and so I propose to
run the exchange slightly differently this year.
The list of available species will be put up here and I suggest that
you keep an eye on this web page since late seed will be most welcome
and will be added as it arrives.
After November 1st please chose the 5 packets of seed you would like
and post or email your list to me (rick.lambert1@btopenworld.com) together
with your name and address. Donors will have their request dealt with
first and then the main distribution will follow. When the seed has
run out I am afraid that will be it for this year.
Return your seed request as soon as possible and
for UK members, please include a 'Large
envelope' stamp (42 pence) lightly attached so that I can use it !
USA members please include the APHIS permit and label.
Overseas members - no stamp required.
Should there be any Surplus seed it will be distributed in January
2009 -
Rick Lambert.
