q Objectively assessing the company's overall sales and marketing performance.
q Being involved in the creation of sound Sales and Marketing policy and strategy.
q Providing guidance and discipline to implement and monitor the agreed strategy
q Reviewing the detailed plans and budgets that will implement policy and strategy.
q Development of relevant metrics.
q Giving early warning of when strategies are failing and advising on corrective activity.
q Independently reviewing the Sales and Marketing management structure and advise.
q Highlighting both good and bad exceptions to expected performance so that lessons can be learnt and prompt action taken.
