Ryan Childcare

I offer an all inclusive deal!

That's right I provide :- Toys, Meals, Arts and Crafts, Outings, Outing attire, all equipment and even Nappies, bottles and Baby Formula if required.

Meals - I can provide three meals per day, Breakfast, Lunch and Tea. The children receive a balanced nutritious diet where I cater for all dietary needs. Good table manners are encouraged at all times, to promote sensible eating habits.

Toys - There are a variety of multicultural toys and equipment available for use by children of all ages. They have been carefully chosen for their durability, safety and play value. I regularly review and upgrade the selection on an ongoing basis. I have a computer with some preschool software for use from age 18 months upwards, which the children will have access too.

Arts and crafts - A variety of art and craft activities are also provided i.e. painting, drawing, sticking, cooking etc.

Outside Play - There is a secure, small, paved outside play area, which is always used, weather permitting. Nearby is a local play-park, which caters for all age groups, which we visit in the good weather.

Outings - We visit the local toddler groups, the library, parks and the weekly coffee morning, hosted by the local childminding group. Where possible, with parent's permission, we go to the swimming pool once a week. This experience develops children's confidence in the water and understanding of water safety. Extra outings to the Zoo of Farm may also be available in the school holiday period.

Outing attire - I provide yellow t-shirts, black sweatshirts and yellow caps for all children to wear when out and about. This is to improve visability, safey and awareness in the community. Please see our Gallery.

All equipment - You do not need to supply any equipment, such as buggies, highchairs etc. All Children under 2 1/2 or with poor safety awareness will be provided with a safety harness when on outings. Pictures are available in our Gallery.

Nappies - The cloth nappies I use are 100% organic cotton and shaped like a disposable so they are easy to use. They are used with a waterproof wrap which is colour coded for each child for hygiene purposes i.e. your child will only wear wraps of the one colour.

If you would like more information about the nappies check out the website www.popolini.com.

As parents, you may be interested to know that the Milton Keynes Council has a “Cashback scheme” offering £30 towards the cost of Real/cotton nappies or nappy laundering service.

For more information you can contact Beverley Delaney, Real Nappy Development Officer, on 01908 227070 or check out the following website: www.mkweb.co.uk/waste

I do ask parents to take their child’s nappy home at the end of each day. I also ask the parents to provide a nappy and a nappy bag for going home.

All you need to bring is yourself, a change of clothing including suitable accessories for the summer and winter months
